Lately
there has been a lot of talk about Chipotle, as they have just opened up a new
restaurant in Emory village. Coming from
Chicago, where there are Chipotle’s all over the place, it is nothing new for
me. I was shocked to hear so many
students say that they had no Chipotle in their towns and had never tried
it. The purpose of this blog post is to
encourage those who have never been to Chipotle to make the walk down Oxford
Road and give it a try.

Chipotle is
quick, easy, filling, delicious, and relatively healthy. It is great for college students looking for
a change of pace from the DUC, but also for the working person on the go who
isn’t looking for your typical McDonalds or Burger King.
At Chipotle
you can choose between a burrito, three tacos, a salad, or a “burrito
bowl”-basically a burrito without the tortilla.
Then you choose the kind of meat you want and all of the other
fixings-beans, rice, etc.

Most of the food is about $8. If you are looking for the most bang for your
buck, I would recommend getting a burrito with your choice of meat, having it double wrapped in two
tortillas, which they do for free, getting both brown and black beans, rice,
fajitas, cheese, sour cream, corn, more than one type of salsa, and
lettuce. This order is an incredible
value, you are almost guaranteed to end up with leftovers in your fridge, and
Chipotle leftovers are always good cold, a lot like pizza. You will want to get the guacamole, but keep
in mind that it is about two dollars extra.
If you are really hungry and craving the guacamole, order it on the side, and order chips to go
with it, the quac is very good.
